When trying to start engine this past week, could not get any response from engine when turning key. Thought the batteries were dead and had them charged. Replaced them but still no response. Put throttle fully forward then in reverse then back to neutral and engine started.
Was cruising later in the day and engine cut out and similar no power situation. This time nothing seemed to work. Came back using my *****ing motor.
Checked the fuses but all are OK. Did notice that after turning the battery switch off them back on I hear a click at the engine when testing the trim\tilt but nothing else. Also when I installed the charged batteries and fired up the engine the first time, I heard a snap sound but only when starting the engine the first time.
Any ideas on what to check?
