The trim tab "disappeared" from my lower unit and I am replacing. Question is, loctite removable thread locker (blue) acceptable to use on the bolt?

I use never seize but to each their own

yes it is
never seize will not keep bolt from backing out

Ive owned 9 yamahas in the last 20 yrs, never lost them to backing out

Just got to torque it to spec's... Never lost one either...
