  • Can't find part # for a filter.

Found an inline filter while servicing my VST that i can't a part # for.

    2007 F150TLR

The filter is shown on the F150 intake 2 page but no #

The filter is located above hose #13
That hose to the canister assembly.
The filter looks like the "F" filter except the hose jags come out each end instead of the side.

What is the the part #?

    Thanks

In the line to the cannister-sits in the bottom of the cowling near the rear latch?

Had me confused a while ago as well. It is a filter but only deals with vapor.

Should be 69J-24502-00. As long as you can blow through it it's ok.

One thing to check-there is a vent where the hose attaches to the latch.
Make sure it is clear. Mud dauber wasps had blocked mine up.

the inline filter by the cowl latch is for the vapor recovery canister vent line.
the other filter you will find on the vapor separator page not the intake page.
      I think its a 69j-24501-10.

Rodbolt, that filter had some black charcoal looking stuff in it.

The filter i am looking at is about 2" aft of #3 injector.
I think i found the expensive thing on injection pump #2 page.

        #2 on the page part # 63P 13971-00

It seems clean, looks, and little restriction.
What does this square cannister, filters etc. do, how does it operate?
Is it a vapor/air filter and release for the air in the VST?

The VST screen and the "F" filter above it were spotless. The water detection/ fuel filter is clean and replaced. The only part of the fuel system left to check/ service are the injectors then i will have completely serviced the system.
