So did you take it in and have it hooked up to a computer ?

These newer motors just like smart automotive stuff really do need the proper test equipment to troubleshoot properly

a bad cam sensor should not have shut it off, will make it run in a default but not shut down.
cam sensors can be tested with the laptop AND a multi meter and a screwdriver per the service manual.
