20A /25A conversion

own an 20A long and an 25A short...both older engines late 70's
need it just in reverse 20A short/25A long...

is it possible to switch the tail-ends??/
measures are simular..but how about the drive-axes ??

Not familiar with those motors. If the drive shaft housing are the same lenght and there are 5 inch spacer that can be removed and swap over to other motor then it work if drive shaft splines and shift shaft are the same.
