Honda 200 - broken throttle

Hi

My throttle will not drive the engine above 2,000 revs.
Everything else on the engine sounds perfect.

We did the diagnostics with the engine and I was told I need the I need part 6P2-13750-00 throttle assembly for my 200hp.

Boat Parts will sell it to me for $1,000 approx however I am in europe and the dealer in the UK says he will sell it for £1,500 !!! - a part with the same name and reference number - however he said that there was a risk that the European supplied Yamaha 200 will not accept this part?

1) Is this true?

2) Can the existing throttle assembly part I need part 6P2-13750-00 part for my 200hp for my 200hp be fixed - or is there another solution?

OK, first we need to know if you have a Honda or a Yamaha, you have posted two different brands here, then we need to know exactly what a "throttle assembly" is
