I have run my outboard for 3 weekends straight with no issues. Then the very next weekend it would not start on the boat ramp. After a quick trouble shooting session it appeared to be a bad fuel pump. I replaced both pumps and the motor ran but really rough and it seemed the more throttle given the more it wanted to bog down. After we got the boat home to work on it we cleaned the carbs, replaced the fuel lines, spark plugs, and it had new gas in the tank. Now when the motor idles it seems to be missing, when I idle up to 1K-2K RPMs the engine runs with a miss then it spikes up to over 6K RPM. Am I looking for an ignition problem or a fuel issue?
