Hey I'm new to the forum and have a question about my 2011 F-150 with only 44 hours. The motor normally runs fine (short distances) but I've noticed that if it runs fairly hard (but not necessarily WOT) down the lake for approx 20 minutes or more the motor will start to sputter or cutout. I back the throttle down and then it runs okay but if I try to increase the throttle again then it sputters again. It's done this a couple of times last year and again this year. Seems to happen with new gas also. Last weekend when it did this I couldn't get higher than 1/2 throttle before I got it back to the marina. Someone said it was vapor lock? Your comments are appreciated. Thanks.
