Multi function tiller

Hello,

What year models of the mid range four stroke will the new muti function tiller fit and how difficult is it to convert a remote engine with the new tiller. I am looking to purchase a used 50-75 HP outboard and my search would be easier if I know I can convert a remote steer to tiller with out much additional cost.
