So I'm workin on this girl's boat. Stuck on the beach for a week. It has a single F115. So I do this and that and I discover the low pressure fuel pump is shot. I replace it, spray a little starter fluid in the intake, presto chango the thing is a pocket rocket once again. I drove the hell out of her across Pensacola bay and she ran like a boss. Get her to my planned marine lockup and kill the master power on the G3 boat ignition. The motor kept running, even though I had killed the electrical link. I turn the key to off, motor stops. Turn it back on and nothing, like a dead battery. Turns out blown 10A fuse in the ignition panel. Replaced the fuse.
Now she cranks but wont turn over. Today I unhooked the starter cable and the master relay is cracking just like it should. Starter fluid gives me pops but won't turn over still. All fuses in the ignition panel and the 4 fuses on the motor that are in the electrical box are good.
Is the electrical fuel pump loud enough that if I was sitting at the ignition 6 feet away and i turned the key with the starter disconnected I would hear the pump? Is there a separate fuel relay? Theres no way the high pressure pump is shot, i just drove the thing 2 days ago.
Thank you in advance for your time.
