Fuel Injectors

I am working through servicing my fuel system and was wondering if injectors should ever be removed and cleaned? Also, there is a packing kit listed for the injectors in the parts break down for my 2006 F90TLR 4 stroke. Is this kit something that should be replaced?

servicing injectors is up to you.
if the rubber rings are in good shape I reuse them.
