Water pump housing '98 2 stroke 225

I changed the pump and used the old housing and after putting it back saw a tiny hole in the housing. Tempted to just put epoxy in it/over it. Can that work or do I need a new housing?

Thanks did seem like a too round hole but didn't notice it before.
