  • 1997 OX66 250 oil pump adjustment

I understand the 0 lash adjustment on the oil pump but there are 2 holes in the arm at the other end of the shaft that the arm can be mounted to. What hole hole should the pump arm be in for correct adjustment. At present mine are in the hole closest to the pivot point not the one at the end of the arm.

Thanks for any help as my plugs are always wet and the motors suck oil down.

will only adjust correctly in the correct hole.

however its not uncommon to have to trim 5 threads off the arm to get it adjusted.
