Can someone tell me the correct positioning of the water seal damper / seal damper guide (parts # 24 / 5)? They are shown in the Lower Drive 2 / 1 drawings.
I know how the seal fits into the metal guide, I am just unsure of their orientation in the lower unit.
Which direction do the (2) half moon cutouts in the rubber seal face? Up, down, toward pump, etc.
