Irregular running F250BTUR

2010 F250 just went out 10 miles to fish. On the way out noticed a very briefly cuts out in engine performance. Returning 4 hours later engine started fine then at 5000 rpm about 40mph started to cut out a lot but kept on running, I tried to vary the rpms, engine kept running all the way into a slow zone. I decreased to slow speed ran fine then back up on a plane at 4000 rpm 30mph and it ran fine the rest of the way to the ramp. Any ideas please. I just serviced the 1 oil change 2 lower unit gear 3 changed the fuel/water separator and pumped the bulb till firm and ran engine at idle with no problem Went out the next day. Engine is about 3 years old and just has 50 hours I do not go out enough Thank you

typically, trash in the vapor separator.

just had the same thing happen it was the high pressure pump it has a filter on it and it was clogged

its called maintenance.
do it or pay later.
yes some of the filters are a pain to access, however it MUST be done periodically or the motor quits.

some folks just want a used altenator and a warrenty.
