setting up a 25' mako w/ twin 115 4 stroke yamahas- I have to buy props. What would be a good pitch that would give me adaquate speed without putting too much load on the engines?

Without a doubt, I am going to refer you to a prop expert on another forum - go to www.maverickboats.com and link over to the message board. Look up "Funky Monkey" aka Marcus and PM him. He is the Power Tech prop rep in Louisiana and really knows his stuff. He's the most knowledgeable of any prop expert I know of, and will do his best to get the performance you are looking for.
