Is there a way to repair the lower housing apron after it was partially smashed and cracked, I was able to gather all the pieces. Can this be glued back together instead of total replacement.

I might try West Systems Epoxy and some bi-axial or tri-axial glass reinforcement. Depends how bad it is, what I have laying around and how valuable my time is. You might spend several days chinking this thing back together only to have it so fragile that...
Epoxy bonds to most of this stuff, rough it up to give it some real bite. Try a test inside to see if it will bond.
Another thought is that other glues will chemically weld plastic together. Remember the good Testors model cement and how you could leave you fingerprints in your airplane, car, ship project? A professional body shop supply house have some good plastic adhesives made for all the plastic they use on these cars. They even glue a lot of steel together.Last edited by FabricGATOR; 06-15-2013, 09:26 AM.If its got teats or tires, you bound to have trouble with it....
