Hi All,
I recently bought a 'new' boat with a 1999 Yamaha 100 HP Four stroke. The previous owner had the valves changed in the trim the year before I bought it and now there is 2" of play in the trim.... If I shift into reverse the motor jumps up and I can actually lift the motor up by the foot when it is on the trailer and I have confirmed that it is the trim shaft moving up and down. I have checked and topped up the trim fluid and cycled it up and down LOTS over the last 50 hours of use but it will not seem to bleed. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!
