2000 ox 66 digital outboard trim gauge

I have a 2000 ox 66 that I just bought and the outboard digital trim gauge reads at the top [all bars showing] no matter where I trim the moor.
Any ideas where I should start my diagnosis?

at the trim sender under the steering knuckle on the tilt tube. probably a broken trim sender cam or bad sender..

you are correct I pulled the boat & the trim arm is broken at the end. the gauge bar graph works when you run the lever up/down. I will replace it.
