  • Auxilary circuit?

Hello, I am new to Yamaha just this last year.

I was doing a through inspection of the powerplants before re launching.

I found the 80 amp fuse links and a spare in the cover of the e box. I noticed that one of the fuse links seems to go nowhere to an unused and capped plug.
What is that for? Is it a service connection for diagnostics?

Just curious, seems like I could use that fuse in a pinch, after arcing out available spares.
If its got teats or tires, you bound to have trouble with it....

That would be the alternate charge lead, if you have 2 batteries you could hook that to the other battery. Yamaha makes a lead that plugs right into it with a inline fuse just for this purpose..

Thank you both for the answer to the mysterious wire.

Now that I know about it (and the riggers and manufacturers don't) I'm gonna use it for evil purposes....

Can someone confirm that the part I want it item #61 p/n 67H-81949-00-00 WIRE, LEAD or is it item #25? I think item 25 is what I saw on the fuse assy.
