Help troubleshoot FM gauge

I have twin 2003 F225s with round gauges. My FM gauge reset total burn each time engine was turned off. I installed a new gauge today and now the FM gauge does not even turn on.

I connected the wires as they were. Color coded with quick disconnect plugs.

I also searched this forum and found the installation guide. I will double check the install but was hoping to get some advice as far as trouble shooting before I dive back in. Also, is there a color wire schematic. The PDF I found is b&w.

Check for 12 volts between yellow and black wires at gauge with key on, recheck wire connections.
