I just purchased a 2008 Alumacraft Navigator 165CS with a 75TLR 4 stroke. It has a stock Yamaha 13 1/2 X 15 aluminum prop. It turns 6100 rpm at 36 mph. It mounted in the second hole. I'm not comfortable with it reving above maximum along with I'd like a more performance/bow lifting prop. I did my research and all the sights said I need a 17 pitch prop. I ordered a Turning Point Hustler/Legacy 13 1/2 X 17 pitch prop. My top RPM is now 5,000 rpm with a top speed of 35 mph. Boat lifts out of the water better but that's about it, it doesn't have the power to turn the prop. I contemplating getting the Hustler/Legacy 13 3/4 X 15 since I already have the hub. I'm not opposed to any prop within reason but I do have to purchase them since I have not dealers around willing to test props. I'd appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

The 15 pitch should increase rpm's about 300-400 rpm's but probably will be a couple mph less.
