  • prop decision

I have a 2008 Alumacraft Navigator 165CS with a 2008 75TLR 4 stroke. The stock Yamaha 13 1/2 X 15 aluminum prop is 6,100 rpm and 36 mph. I don't feel comfortable over max RPM. After research if purchased a Turning Point Hustler 13 1/4 X 17. 5,000 RPM and 35 mph, obviously the aggressive Hustler 17 was to much. I'm contemplating a Hustler 15 3/4 X 15 as my next move. Looking for more bow lift to get the boat out of the water more for better overall performance and I'll always take a bit more top end. Not opposed to any prop within reason. I just don't have the luxury to have a dealer for testing and exchange. Got to buy them all. Your thoughts and suggestions appreciated.
