I just replaced the 2 stroke oil supply line going from the remote oil tank in my boat to my 225 hp motor, does this line need priming with oil before I start the motor?

If you have oil in tank on motor so it will keep motor oiled then the remote oil pump should push the air out and fill motor tank as it needs it as motor runs. Never hurts to keep an eye on it while it happens though.
You could drain motor tank some so it will call for the transfer or use the switch on motor to run pump
Did you replace the inline filter also

I did not replace the inline filter, I did not see a filter inline on the supply from the boat but what I replaced was a section of line that ran from the remote tank to a barb connector that was located at the entry to the motor. It seemed strange that the oil line hose was not one continuous piece from supply tank to the connection point under the cowling.
