9.9 hp low speed

I have a 2005 Yamaha 9.9 that seems to me doesn't put out the power it used to. The boat speed seems lower than usual. Is there any additives I should use in the gas?

running a sick motor with snake oil in fuel to see if it gets better is a good way of hurting it way before fixing it.
You can check compression, spark, and timing to make sure motor is in good shape to start out with and everything is in spec and then clean carbs and check for other fuel related problems
