Hello
I have an old 3,5 hp two stroke yamaha outboard engine. I dont no the specific number.
It has always run very well. Until last time I went fishing.
From the minute I started the engine it only ran a what feels like half speed and I it sounds as if it takes fewer revolutions.
It does run perfectly smooth though at an even amounth of revolutions and it does not cough or anything. And we did go for a long sail.
When it runs about water it takes the normal amount of revolution pr. minute both in foreward and in neutral.
I can see that the carburater opens for gas flow when I turn the throtle, so it no problem there.
Can a wrong mix of gasoline/oil cause this?
Thx
Regards Thomas
