Yamaha 9.9 four stroke - Tach?

I am back trying to figure out how to wire a Yamaha analog tach to my 1989 9.9 Yamaha w/703 control box. I would also like to wire in the oil pressure warning light (yellow w/red stripe). The tack has a yellow with red band leading from the oil pressure light. Does this make sense?

Any Prop-Gaurd success stories?

Tach connects to yellow, green and black wires that come out back of 703 controls, never tried but probably wouldn't be able to get oil light to work on that engine, could move oil light on front of engine cowling to console and extend the wires to light.
