Took the boat out ran fine. Then on the way in we had to trim it up a bit because of the tide. Started running rough. Got it home. Put the mickey mouse ears on to clean it out. Rough idle. almost sounds like its gonna cut off. Peeing great. Could it be the water/fuel separator? Did oil change/ spark plug change, and lower unit change. Is there a fuel filter or just a separator? Is it something I can buy at a parts store?

You say you just replaced the plugs, are they gapped properly? can you remove them and see if they all look the same?, dirty fuel could be the problem, but it will need a bit more testing/cleaning, and then get the IAC replaced if it only has problems at idle, you didn't tell us if it is OK while in use under load.Comment

It is the same under load. Sounds like its struggling. I have car that had a bad IAC. Its dont seem to be surging that bad.Comment

where is the IAC located? I just revved it up. It does clear up when I run the rpm's up.Comment
