Recently I have just purchased a 2008 alumacraft 16 foot cs with a 2000 Yamaha 100 hp 4 stroke. I got this boat real cheap from an insurance company because it was missing a lower unit and control box. I had the lower unit replaced by a mechanic and the motor runs fine. I bought a 10 pin control box on ebay for the motor and my mechanic told me the control box I bought works but when you put it in reverse it goes forward and forward it goes reverse, he also suspects its a gearbox for a 2 cycle. Can anyone possibly send me a link to wear I can buy the appropriate part so I can start my fishing season?
