How long can I safely run (for testing purposes only) a 200 2 stroke without the lower unit and without hose connected to the water inlet pipe? (I have no access to water where the motor is)
The second it starts you are starting to damage it.
You can start it to see if it will run but the second it starts running shut it down. Water cools more than just the powerhead.
