check your sensor connections if they are ok check the buzzer they are prone to corrosion its a simple mechanism made up of a thin brass plate that vibrates when power is applied to it open up your control box and give it a clean

its a new buzzer. and it does not go off when engine is started but it does get louder when oil is low . COULD IT BE A LOW VOLTAGE SIGNAL?

I have read about a problem like this before caused by a buzzer from radio shack

Yea but 2 volts at it . shouldent there be 0v at it unless something is wrong. Then it should get 12v

should have 12V at the yellow buzzer wire at key on.
the temp switchs and oil alarm module control the ground path.
                      no ground,no alarm.
