replacing control box with yamaha

I just inherited a small skiff with a yamaha 50 2 stroke. The boat originally had a honda which blew. The previous owner installed the yamaha with the original honda con*****er. It works. However, there is no neutral switch to prevent starting in gear on the honda control box. I want to replace it with a yamaha 704. Will i need any additional parts.

im i right in saying the honda con*****er was just feeding the shift cables.ie no powered wiring involved. if the yamaha cables are of the right length it should be ok and any wiring should be compatible
