Control cables

I would like to know if control cables for yamaha 704 binnacle are the same for gear and throttle. I ordered a set from one of these on line sites and the throttle cable is a good three inches longer. Did I get the wrong set?

both cables are the same, it is the attaching point that makes it look longer, if both cables are connected at the control box one will be longer, just make sure it is hooked to the correct location.
