1987 225hp HELP no sparky no starting

Please help me. I liveaboard a house boat in the Florida Keys, my home and boat have been in the marina yard for 30 days.

I hoped it would be launched tomorrow HOWEVER I am not getting any spark at the plugs....I did check the obviouse proplems any suggestions???

Does it have a safety lanyard?

did you check the neutral switch in throttle...you should try to bypass it and the lanyard kill.

Disconnect white wire(ignition stop circuit)from CDI unit, just remove screw and pull wire away from terminal. If it fires with wire disconnected then the problem is in the main wire harness, igniton switch or landyard switch. If no fire then test ignition system on engine, charge coils,pulsor coils, CDI, crank position sensor and ign. coils.
