Hello:
New to 2 cycle outboards.
How does the choke switch on helm work? Is it an on/of type switch, or is it a rotary variable current style switch? It doesn't appear to be working but I am puzzled( motor starts fine with manual on engine). I can't tell by looking at he switch.
Also, how do I check the solenoid on the engine? Can I bypass the switch and put 12 volt direct? Again, I don't know if the solenoid just pulls on and off or does it have a variable pull like a car choke?
