Remote control cables replacement.

I have a Cobia 194CC boat equipped with a 2001 Yamaha TXRZ 150 hp and a
704 remote control box.
Both throttle and shifting cables have to be replaced.
How do you snake the cable from the remote control box to the motor?
Can I use the existing cable and tape the ends together and fish it true this way?
It looks kind of tight!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes use old ones to pull new ones through.
