Anodes

2 questions. On a T9.9 and 175 Vmax HPDI are the anodes zinc or aluminum?

2nd question... These motors are mounted to an aluminum boat. I have a welded-on ZINC and 2 bolts on zincs on the transom. If the motors use aluminum anodes, should I switch the transom anodes to match? I use the boat 85% freshwater, 15% saltwater. The boat is unpainted raw aluminum.

They are zinc anaodes

Thanks for the response. So its safe to assume that as long as I scrub the anodes monthly with a SS wire brush, I should be safe in fresh or salt water?
