I have a 1999 150 saltwater series with the o66 fuel injection. I began having problems about a year ago when the engine would act as if it ran out of gas. It stalls out and when I pump more fuel in it starts right up and runs great (until it stalls again). There is no obstruction in the tank or fuel lines. I've also noticed that I've lost about 500 rmp on the top end. I've replaced filters and fuel pumps and just put in a new oxygen sensor, the local dealers and service centers have been zero help. I've given them over 500 bucks for parts and labor that did nothing. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks.

The way to check fuel system is with a vacumn gauge to check for air leaks or fuel restriction and a pressure gauge to check fuel pressure to injectors. Without the tools to check fuel system the only thing you can do is to run on different fuel tank (a 6 gal portable) but it will only test the boat fuel system and not anything on motor
