f60 tachometer

I have a 04 f60 four stroke that I just bought. It doesnt have a tachometer on the boat. I want to add an after market tachometer w/ an hour meter. Can any body tell me the best way to hook it up? I would think the hour meter would be easy by connecting to switch. Im not sure of the tachometer. Thanks .

Install a 6Y5-83553-N0-00 Guage harness to key switch matching colored wires and connect
Green wire to tach signal post
Yellow to ignition post on tach and hour meter
Black to ground
