Well owners have given the go ahead to repower their 25ft Pursuit!
Being removed are the twin 1996 two stroke 150 Yamahas. these motors are still running decent, but are extremely thirsty ( smokey) and noisy! The steering has stiffened up several times in the main pivot tube, additionally the cast frame piece that the steering linkages bolt on the outboards, are severely corroded.
I have no experience with the larger Four Strokes. What types of advantages or disadvantages might we expect with these motors?
The motors being the easy part. Trying to coordinate Wiring, seating, and brightwork is like trying to push a string up hill!
