tachometer issues

Recently bought an '06 F200 TXR with 82 hrs on it . Came with a digital tach and digital fuel management gauge and wiring harness from motor to control box (704) and key switch.What does one need to connect the gauges ( tach and fuel management).
Local yamaha shop mechanic thinks I need a hub and two more harnesses but he doesn'tknow for sure. Is this roket science or do I need to gosome where else?

Will need to know exactly what gauges you have, standard digital or newer Command Link gauges.
