Just purchased a 15mshz 2 stroke that started and ran fine 3 weeks ago. My buddy hooked up the fuel line backwards and primed the hell out of it for 2 to three minutes and now it won't start. Is this a coincidence or is there a possibility that pulling a vacuum on the fuel system could have damaged the carb. The only way I can get it to start up now is with starting fluid. And as soon as i stop that it dies out. Any advise would be helpful. Could gas go bad that quickly?
