Tilt Switch

Whats involved in moving the tilt switch on a f150 from the starboard side to the port side? It would make it a lot more convenent to have it on the outside since I have twins.

dont do it as the vibration will cause an electrical short circuit and you could loose your motor and boat plus your insurance wont cover it,i would move the engines bit more out if that helps .

What vibration? I'm only talking about moving the switch.

these are factory fitted switches and the wiring are done accordingly i tried moving the switch myself once that was when it first came out i regret it til now ,its wiser to move the engine a bit far apart then the switch which looks easy but promise you you will regret it

if your engine has a block off plug on the port side,switch the two.
some later engines could be done on either side.
