2005 F115 Won't "Pee"

After sitting up for several months, I put the foot of my motor in a barrel of water, and got no discharge from the water discharge "nozzle." I put a pair of muffs on and it worked fine. I decided to change the impeller, which was worn, but not too bad.

After reassembly, I am still experiencing the same issue.

Any ideas?

Maybe you are not putting in in deep enough in the barrel of water.

Have you tried putting the boat in the water to see how it acts that way

just clean the pee line with a thin wire maybe a wasp has done a nest in the line

I have made sure it is submerged below the cavitation plate, which is above where the pick up is located.

If it was clogged, it wouldn't pee with the ear muffs.
