Starting Sequence 150 4stoke 2005

I purchased a second hand 2005 150 four stroke. When I turn on the key it sits and turns over like crazy but will not fire. I understand there is a specific sequence in starting these engines. Understand they have to be in neutral but do not know the sequence after.

Would someone be kind enough to help me out?

if its an o5 4 stroke the starting sequence is after priming the VST, turn the key.
it will start or its broke.

if you crank it with the kill lanyard removed it sounds the alarm.
its also a quick monthly test of the alarm system.

Yes, you gave me that information when I asked how to test my alarm quite a few months back - and it did not work so I had to have it repaired.
