replace upper casing

I have a 1994 "T9.9ELHS". The upper casing (part# 668-45111-12-4D)is rotting away from the outside .How hard is it to replace it and has anyone ever done it.Better yet is there a video of someone doing it. I am visual and do better seeing it done. The engine is in good shape and runs very well so i don't want to lose it over some rotten aluminum. Last season i filled in the crack and faired it over with epoxy but by the end of the season the epoxy came loose because the metal it was bonded to corroded.

Everything has to come apart, engine, lower unit, motor mounts.
