Testing low pressure fuel pump

Is there a way to test the low pressure fuel pump on a four stroke 225 (2003)

the only way to check is to replace the spring diaphragm and if it works then you know it was faulty otherwise there is no way of finding it out ,its only a 10.98cent item from boats.net

yes.
use a set of jumper wires,avalible at radio shack.
red to battery + and black to - and it should run.
have you checked the 5 amp fuse?

Low pressure pump

Checked fuse...and you were right one blown...replaced it just for luck...and it blew that one also.....looks like I need a new low pressure pump..i guess?

quite possiby.
if your lift pump is bad check for debris in the vst.
