Hi, I have a 175 2 stroke yamaha on my 1993 Southwind SF20.
I am having difficulty pumping grease into the top steering bearing/bush on the engine resulting in tight steering. It appears that the upper and lower bearings share the same grease nipple and the grease seems to just pump out the lower bearing (path of least resistance). Does anyone know a way of getting grease to the top bearing???
Also I have an issue with the high temp alarm activating when I operate the engine at WOT for about 1 minute. The water pump impeller has been changed and the mechanic said the impeller housing had some scores in it, could this be the cause of my overheating problems?
Thanks
