2006 F90TLR, oil pressure

I have the square command display. I'm not getting a oil pressure reading. How can I determine if the prob is in the sensor or the wire+display. Is there anyway to simulate the sensor to determine if the wire+display is functional?

This is a used boat that I recently purchased.

Also, is there any manual way that I can read the fault codes?

The F90 will not display oil pressure only low oil pressure warning will show.

That can't be right b/c the manual clearly says the oil pressure is displayed.

No that engine onlys has oil pressure switch to activate warning, does not have oil pressure sensor that will display pressure readings.
