f225 2005 ISC hot when engine off

my isc clatters when power is applied and engine runs properly. when the engine is off and battery switch on the isc is gets hot .. When the yds computer is connected it thinks the engine is running when its not. any ideas?

ISC should NOT chatter when power is applied.
should chgatter at key OFF.
what indications on the YDS lead you to belive the system is still running when its not?

Checked and it does only clatter when key off. When the yds computer is attached and you try to do an active test ie: test injectors. message comes up the engine is running or not in neutral. checked that engine is in neutral.

then double check the tps setting.
